The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève has revealed its 2025 nominees, and we are proud to share that the Round Triple Mystery has been selected in the prestigious Ladies’ Complication category.
The journey began with the Mystery, inspired by Franck Muller’s encounter with a culture that perceived time not as a rigid sequence of markers but as something fluid, to be experienced at one’s own rhythm. From this vision was born the first Mystery, a groundbreaking creation where traditional hands gave way to a single rotating disc, offering a poetic and unconventional reading of the hours.
The Double Mystery followed, introducing two rotating discs that seamlessly marked both hours and minutes. Now the Triple Mystery pushes this vision further with a third rotating disc for seconds, transforming the dial into a hypnotic ballet of light and motion.
A true spectacle of artistry and innovation, the Round Triple Mystery captivates with three rotating discs that mark the hours, minutes and seconds. Each disc is set with a diamond, catching the light at every turn and transforming the passing of time into a luminous ballet. This exceptional creation of 5.86 carats combine fine watchmaking with the brilliance of high jewelry.
Behind its beauty lies remarkable technical achievement. The addition of the rotating seconds disc demanded years of research, as its rapid motion required a disc of extreme lightness and precision. The result is a skeletonised aluminium structure weighing only 0.052 grams, an extraordinary engineering feat that ensures flawless performance without compromising elegance.
The Round Triple Mystery highlights not only the expertise but also the visionary spirit that has always driven Franck Muller, pushing boundaries, imagining the unprecedented and reinventing watchmaking.
Each year, the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève gathers the world’s finest timepieces, with academy members nominating six watches per category and an expert jury awarding the most exceptional creations.
