The Vanguard Ram Lalla Limited Edition expresses Franck Muller’s creative approach to watchmaking while paying tribute to Lord Ram in his childhood form, worshipped as the presiding deity of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
The timepiece brings together avant-garde design and the codes of Haute Horlogerie, translating its devotional inspiration through a refined and meticulously balanced composition. Every curve, line and architectural detail has been carefully considered to create a sculptural silhouette that combines technical precision, elegance and distinctive character.
The dial pays tribute to Lord Ram through an intricate appliqué created using highly detailed laser work, with each piece requiring approximately 30 hours of processing. Carefully polished and finished, the appliqué brings remarkable depth, precision and visual presence to the dial, reflecting Franck Muller’s meticulous approach to craftsmanship and Haute Horlogerie.
The strap is integrated into the case using two concealed screws in place of traditional spring bars. Carefully finished edge stitching complements the smooth transition between the case and strap. The strap combines rubber with grape-based vegan leather and integrates into the case to follow the Vanguard’s curved silhouette.
Franck Muller celebrated the launch of the Vanguard Ram Lalla Limited Edition in India together with Kapoor Watch Co., marking the unveiling of a timepiece created especially for the Indian market. Rishab Rikiram Sharma, acclaimed Indian sitarist and neo classical musician joined as a special guest. A tribute to Lord Ram, this creation brings together the distinctive design of the Vanguard collection and the brand’s watchmaking expertise.
