FRANCK MULLER OPENS WORLD'S FIRST FOUR-STOREY MAISON IN HONG KONG


Hong Kong26 May 2014 - Swiss watchmaker FRANCK MULLER® has opened its doors to an expansive new Maison inHong Kong, the first in the world to span four floors of prime retail space. Encompassing more than 6,000 square feet in the world famous shopping utopia of CausewayBay, the Maison invites guests to enjoy a lavish, one-of-a-kind experience at 15 - 21 Sharp Street East.

“Hong Kong is proud to be the home for our brand's first concept boutique of this scale in the world,” said Mr. Kingston Chu, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Sincere Brand Management Limited. “When we welcome guests into the space, we're inviting them to a tour of our Maison. It's a unique venue to share our passion for watchmaking and indulge our clients in a quintessential customer experience.”

Design flourishes on the G/F prominently feature the brand's signature numerals, a FRANCK MULLER® trademark. There, guests are invited to browse the latest collections from Watchland, the company’s world headquarter in Geneva. Moving up one level via a discreet personal lift, the 1/F gallery is dominated by an enticing stone fireplace that imbues the space with a warm ambience. Here, the Master of Complications showcases some of his most intricate timepieces.

Also on 1/F, guests are introduced to intriguing creations from two other brands: Backes & Strauss which belongs to the FRANCK MULLER® group and Cvstos, an independent brand. Renowned as the masters of diamonds since 1789, Backes & Strauss creates its exclusive luxury timepieces in the world famous workshops of FRANCK MULLER® Watchland. Cvstos is known for its distinctive high-tech approach to design, a perfect balance between traditional watchmaking and state-of-the-art innovation.

The FRANCK MULLER® Maison is a celebration of design as distinctive as the brand itself. An intimate atmosphere is ensconced within the spacious environs, urging guests to linger as they explore an eclectic range of haute horlogerie. Evoking a leisurely stroll through a fine art gallery, the experience encourages pensive reflection and profound appreciation.

In another first, the two upper floors will introduce two unique dining experiences, the inaugural venture of its kind from any international watchmaker. Scheduled to open this Spring will be FRANCESCO by FRANCK MULLER, Italian flare with a Japanese twist on 2/F, and EIGHTEEN SHARP, the Chinese Cuisine with a western identity on 3/F.
