the creation of an exhibition

In 20 years of existence, Franck Muller Manufacture has distinguished itself not only by the exceptional nature of its models, but also by the creation of its own flagship event: the WPHH – World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie, where it demonstrates its pioneering status as an independent brand.

In 1998, the Franck Muller Group decided to create an independent watchmaking exhibition under the evocative name of WPHH, organised at the manufacturing head office of Watchland, in the village of Genthod, on the outskirts of Geneva. In no time, this "alternative" exhibition became an essential meeting place for the watchmaking world.

New watches of the Group's brands are exclusively presented there to professionals in the field and to the international press. Exceptional timepieces and world premieres have been launched there, such as the Franck Muller Aeternitas Mega 4 - the most complicated wristwatch in the world.

exceptional nights

Traditionally rounded off by Gala evenings welcoming up to 1,400 guests, the WPHH has become an important event for industry professionals.

Top stars have performed there - Ray Charles, Charles Aznavour, Paul Anka, Solomon Burke and Tom Jones, to name but a few. These unforgettable nights, featuring fireworks, lighting effects and water fountains, have charmed guests including distributors, retailers, VIPs and the international press.

THE WPHH in monaco

In 2010, Franck Muller Manufacture decided for the first time to export its exhibition and chose the exceptional setting of Monaco for the occasion. It could hardly have chosen any other site, since the "Rocher" is the perfect incarnation of beauty, luxury and exclusivity and constitutes an ideal setting for holding a Fine Watchmaking & Jewellery exhibition in a secure environment.

This initial overseas event, supplemented by three partners, Orianne Collins, Chantecler and Cvstos, was a tremendous success, with exceptional timepieces having been taken home by major collectors. This is why the Franck Muller Group wants to carry on with the WPHH & Jewellery each year in Monaco, thereby making it one of the Principality's prime luxury events.

renowned exhbitions

The WPHH has, in just a few years, become one of the most important Fine Watchmaking & Jewellery exhibitions.
Today visitors come in the thousands from more than 100 countries worldwide. Thanks to this prestigious event, the watchmaking house offers a valuable forum where numerous fields intermingle, encouraging the exchange of different cultures and ideas that can culminate in unique and unprecedented creations.
